Greenhouse 
FOGCO Systems are fast becoming standard
equipment for all greenhouse applications. As an environmental
control system, they can have a dramatic effect on
greenhouse productivity.
Greenhouse productivity is dependent on many factors.
Although a fog system cannot control or affect all variables, it can have a positive
impact by regulating the temperature, humidity and moisture content
within the greenhouse.
Fog systems are ideal for addressing and correcting the problems associated
with high temperatures and/or low humidity levels. These systems have
been used for decades in greenhouse humidification and can be used year
round. This will promote increased health and productivity within the greenhouse
by eliminating ‘plant water stress’, one of the most significant factors in the
growth of all plants.
Plants lose most of their moisture through evaporation
from the leaves. They also gather most of the carbon needed for
growth in the form of carbon dioxide through the leaves. By controlling the
plants pores through effective climate control, the results are stronger and
healthier plants with optimum growth potential. There is no better, more
effective method to control this than with a properly designed fog system.
Fog systems can also be used to introduce fertilizers into the environment
by injecting nutrients directly into the atmosphere. The moisture and the
nutrients are absorbed by the leaves of the plant.
The new Revolution Series is the latest innovation in climate control and is appropriate for all greenhouse humidification or cooling needs. The Revolution Series was developed to provide a means of producing better coverage and more effective humidification and evaporative properties when compared to a typical mist system. By integrating a focused air stream directly into the fog, the water droplets cover more cubic feet and are able to cool or humidify up to 5 times the amount of air of a static line system.
